  Positive and well intentioned staff. Scurried about, but service off the mark - asking to remove plates when it should have been obvious we were still eating, putting water carafe on the table, but not filling our glass, brought bottle of beer with no glass, etc. I'm not being petty - this is not a casual diner. Entries priced $15 to $35 and the service should be commensurate. Basket of bread was stale. I ordered lamb shank. When prepared properly - braised low and slow - it should be fall off the bone tender. Unfortunately, the lamb was tough and flavorless. Nice folks, but food and service need an upgrade.

  The steak was great but the rice very undercooked. It was pricy and they wanted to charge us 15.00 to split a meal. It was decent but not great.

  Stopped here because it had street parking for my 18 wheeler. Was passing thru and saw it as I passed so stopped in. It was a Wednesday night and not very busy. Moslty locals all dressed up like coca cola cowboys and desperately trying to act like Ben Cartwright and talking "cattle"... I ordered the "1/2 pound" buffalo burger. It came out and probably weighed no more then 1/3 lb BEFORE cooking. It was cooked well and tasted good, but was certainly not worth $17. The Buffalo burger at the Big Texan in Amarillo is miles better. The service was average. The majority of the servers were young girls who were built like the proverbial brick house. That was the only plus I can really give the place.
